Get to know Naviance, which will help guide you in high school as well as help you make plans for after high school, both in planning for college and careers
Learn how to use x2VOL to submit community service hours you have completed
Find out what the College & Career Center can help you with in high school here
Join "Pathways to College" afterschool program or another afterschool club
Come to the College & Career Center or talk to your Guidance Counselor if you have any questions

This is a very important year for you both academically and in thinking about your future. Do well in your classes and make sure to complete these tasks:

Create your resume using Naviance, and use it to apply for an "internship," "apprenticeship," or other work experience
Find some job/career prep opportunities here, but use your network of contacts to find others
Find tips for applying for a job and other career-related resources here

Create/update your email address in Naviance
Take the SAT/ACT tests
Attend the "Career Connections" event in March
Join "Pathways to College" afterschool program or another afterschool club
